2012 trip to Reno started with a round of the Olympic Peninsula.
Beautiful camping spots, like the Hoy River.
The roads were deserted by the second weekend in September, as were the campsites.
Had a hot springs soak at the Sol Duc hot springs en route to Port Angeles. Sol Duc sits up a little windy road off HWY 101 just south of Lake Cresent.
Met up with Dug as he rode off the Port Angeles Ferry, headed South to meet Eddy at the first rest stop south of Olympia. 
Camp off hwy 207, found in the dark by Dug, 200 meters off a gravel farm access spur.
Alvord Hot Springs
South Eastern Oregon, near Fields, hahaa
Access from the north by 50 km of gravel, or 8 km of gravel from the south. Elevation 4000'
Steens Mountain to the West.
